Our projects

As a regional hub for learning, resilience, and movement support across South West Asia and North Africa (SWANA), we develop practical, locally led initiatives designed to empower activists and grassroots groups operating under restrictive legal, political, and digital environments.

Social Change Institute

The Social Change Institute serves as our flagship capacity development incubator. We bring together experienced movement builders, human rights defenders, and grassroots leaders to cultivate strategic thinking, organizational agility, and collective resilience. Through peer-to-peer exchanges and tailored learning spaces, participants deepen their strategies for sustaining community impact amidst complex local challenges.

Toolkits for activists

Operating in restrictive political and digital settings demands pragmatic, battle-tested resources. Our toolkits offer frontline activists actionable guidance on holistic safety, digital security, tactical advocacy, and sustainable wellbeing. Produced by movement leaders who navigate these realities daily, each toolkit equips human rights and gender defenders with real-world solutions that can be adapted anywhere across SWANA.
